The request is also copied, so if it doesn’t appear by itself just paste it. When the script comes back, copy it and press Paste the script in.
Command palette: press Ctrl/⌘ + K anywhere to search every control — start, mirror, finishes, saved scripts, captions and more.
Remote control: most Bluetooth presentation clickers & foot pedals send Page Up/Down or arrow keys — they control the prompter with no setup. Drag the script with the mouse to pull it up or down mid-take — flick it and it coasts to a soft stop, then the roll resumes by itself. On a tablet: tap = play/pause, drag ↕ = scroll, drag ↔ = speed.
Game controller: pair an Xbox or PlayStation controller and it just works — A play/pause · LBRB previous / next section · Y section list · either stick scrubs up and down · D-pad ↑↓ speed, ←→ text size · Start fullscreen.
