Questions

How much does a special effect rental cost?

It depends on how many units, how long, and the venue. Send one request with your date and venue, and the suppliers reply with their prices — free, no account needed.

Can I use it indoors?

Confetti, streamers, CO2, low fog, snow, bubbles and balloon drops are usually fine indoors. Fog, haze and smoke can set off smoke alarms. Cold sparks, fountains, flames and stage pyro need the venue's OK, and often a fire (BFP) permit. Fireworks are outdoor only. Always tell your venue first.

Does the supplier run it on the day?

Yes — the supplier sets it up, runs it at your cue and packs it away. Tell them your timeline and the moments you want it.
